Hawthornden Lecture Theatre - Gardens Entrance (Scottish National Gallery)

The Scottish Society for the History of Photography's annual lecture welcomes the award-winning and internationally acclaimed artist, Tom Hunter. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, most recently in the exhibition Seduced by Art at the National Gallery London and A Palace for Us at the Serpentine Gallery. His monograph The Way Home (Hatje Cantz, 2012) has just been published.
Hunter is the only artist to have had a solo photography show at the National Gallery, London and his works are in many collections around the world including the V&A London and MoMA, New York.

Purdy Hicks Gallery will be presenting a one person exhibition of work (1996-2013) by Tom Hunter, with major pieces from series including Persons Unknown, Life and Death in Hackney, Unheralded Stories and AXIS MUNDI.
Tom Hunter will be signing copies of his new book The Crowbar on the Gallery Stand (D36) at 5pm Thursday 14 November.
