Leila Jeffreys first photographed cockatoos in 2010 and remains endlessly amazed at their beauty. Her work for Vivid Sydney embodies the idea of nature as a sacred refuge; to take us out of our busy minds, even if for a moment. The immersive three-channel film evokes the beauty of Sydney’s waterways, and pays homage to Australia's native cockatoos.
