Nordic Light is unique: the exhibition explores what it is like to live in almost endless daylight during the summer months and limited light during the winter.
We have chosen seven artists from several generations, all trained at the Aalto University of Arts, Design and Architecture in Helsinki, whose work celebrates the particular quality of Nordic light. The exhibition will show their interpretation of rare rays of winter sunshine, the cold climate, the clear water, the never-setting sun of the summer and the spectacular and under populated landscape.
